Ram Sharma

Ram Sharma leads the Manufacturing Development group at Minaris Regenerative Medicine. His interdisciplinary group takes a holistic approach to present clients solutions to their manufacturing challenges. The group has brought on automated systems to execute analytical work, reducing staff time by 75%; translated an open, lab scale process to a closed, automated process; and reviewed an established process and identified opportunities for improvement using newer technologies. Prior to his tenure at Minaris, Ram was based at a stem cell biotechnology company where he designed various studies for an autologous cell therapy and scaled production of a proprietary stem cell from 2D to 3D culture for an allogeneic cell therapy. Ram has global experience from holding academic positions in Europe where he published the first papers on tendon stem cell engineering and sustainable biomaterials.
