Li Ou

Dr. Li Ou is currently the Vice President at Genemagic Bio, a startup focused on AAV gene therapy for neurological and ocular diseases. Previously, Li was an Assistant Professor at the Gene Therapy Center, University of Minnesota. Li obtained his PhD in Genetics (minor in Biostatistics) at the University of Minnesota. He has over 10 years of experience in leading IND-enabling studies of gene therapy (AAV, lentivirus, ZFN, CRISPR, gene regulation), resulting in 2 IND approvals, 6 pending patents, 25 manuscripts, 63 abstracts, and 23 oral presentations.
